Travel in Style to the US Open With IHG’s New Racquet Cruiser
Aug 27, 2026
Travel in style to the US Open — and, perhaps more importantly, travel back to Manhattan in style after the last ball has been struck.
IHG Hotels & Resorts is adding a new wrinkle to its 2026 US Open presence with the IHG Racquet Cruiser, a complimentary premium motorcoach designed to turn the post-match trip from Flushing Meadows into part of the experience.
Following select US Open sessions, eligible fans will be able to board the Racquet Cruiser near Arthur Ashe Stadium for transportation to select IHG hotels in Manhattan. The ride comes with considerably more than a seat and air conditioning: IHG says guests can expect Prince St. Pizza, express facial treatments, post-match replays, Wi-Fi, device charging, surprise gifts and other touches aimed at making the journey back into the city feel less like a commute and more like an extension of the night.

The activation marks IHG Hotels & Resorts’ eighth year as the official hotel and hotel loyalty program of the US Open Tennis Championships.
“At IHG, hospitality extends far beyond the hotel stay. We don't think the experience should end just because the match did,” said Connor Smith, Senior Vice President of Global Brands – Luxury, Lifestyle, Masterbrand and Global Creative Director. “Through experiences like the IHG Racquet Cruiser, we're bringing the same comfort, care and thoughtful touches our guests expect from our hotels to more moments of their US Open journey.”
The Cruiser isn’t IHG’s only play in Queens.

The IHG Racquet Bar returns to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, along with one of its signature offerings: the Watermelon Slice cocktail. The tournament drink combines Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut, watermelon juice, elderflower liqueur and lime, finished with a watermelon wedge and served in a collectible tennis-inspired IHG cup.
Fans can enter at the Racquet Bar for a chance to ride aboard the Racquet Cruiser, although a US Open ticket is required to access the grounds during the main draw.
IHG One Rewards members also get another layer of access throughout the tournament, including custom merchandise and limited-time redemption packages, while rewards points can be used to bid on select VIP experiences connected to IHG’s sports partnerships.
It is all part of the increasingly elaborate hospitality ecosystem surrounding the US Open, where the experience now stretches far beyond what happens between the lines.
And after a late night inside Arthur Ashe Stadium, pizza, Wi-Fi and a comfortable ride to Manhattan may be a pretty convincing fifth set.
