Reflections and Predictions for the Delray Beach Open

In a video filmed last night, I was joined by Florida Tennis contributor Zach Shahan in order to dive into the Delray Beach Open with quirky insights, revealing stories, and a look ahead at some of the most anticipated match-ups in the tournament's exciting draw.

Zach and I reflect on a memorable weekend at the Delray Beach Open. We talk about the best kept secret on the ATP Tour — the qualifiers. And we discuss the DBO's Legends Clinic and Pro-Am which offers amateur players the chance to hit with past and present pros.

Imagine playing doubles with the likes of the Bryan Brothers, Jensen Brothers or Tommy Haas. Imagine a current ATP pro playing full-throttle as you scramble to keep the ball in play. What was it like? We delve into the details.

And the week ahead could prove to be ultra-competitive at the DBO. Dissecting the draw, we make some bold predictions. The tournament promises impressive showdowns this year including American talent like Tommy Paul, Francis Tiafoe, and last year's champ Taylor Fritz.

We also take a close look at four potential matchups in the tournament: Fritz–Borges, Mannarino–Giron, Tommy Paul–Michelsen/Kokkinakis, and Tiafoe–Shang.

Looking ahead, who will dominate the draw? Who's likely to get knocked out early? Check out our hot takes in this entertaining video...
