Two more WTA semifinal spots are on the line. No. 2 Iga Swiatek, who is seeking her first title of the year, faces 19-year-old wild card Alexandra Eala who is playing in her first WTA Tour quarterfinal. Swiatek, the 2022 Miami champion, will be the third Grand Slam winner Eala will face this tournament.

Under the lights, 2021 US Open winner Emma Raducanu is playing in her first Miami Open quarterfinal and faces 2024 US Open finalist Jessica Pegula, the last American woman left in the draw. Pegula is aiming to reach her third Miami semifinal in four years.

Meanwhile, the men’s quarterfinals are set to start. A pair of men’s quarterfinals are also on the schedule today. The first features 2024 finalist Grigor Dimitrov against Francisco Cerundolo, an Argentinian who has reached his third Miami Open quarterfinal in four years.

Tonight’s quarterfinal match will feature six-time Miami Open champion Novak Djokovic, who is seeking his first title of the year and 100th of his career, against American Sebastian Korda, who is looking to reach his first Miami semifinal.

The men’s quarterfinals will continue Thursday with Tuesday winners Matteo Berrettini and Taylor Fritz battling while Jakub Mensik awaits the winner of a rain-delayed match between Alexander Zverev and Arthur Fils.

Afternoon rain resulted in two ATP matches being postponed until today, both featuring the top seeds. In singles, No. 1 Alexander Zverev got an extra day to prepare to face No. 17 Arthur Fils, while doubles top seeds Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic are coming back Wednesday to play No. 7 Maximo Gonzalez and Andres Molteni.
