The Rafa Nadal Academy Padel Tour expands to the United States with Playtomic

After two successful editions in Spain and a strong start in Italy, the Rafa Nadal Academy Padel Tour is taking its biggest leap yet — crossing the Atlantic to bring its amateur circuit to the United States in 2026, in partnership with Playtomic.

Four new events are planned across the country, marking a major milestone in the circuit's international expansion. True to its founding spirit, the tour blends sport, competition, leisure, and values — making it as much about community as it is about the game.

The USA Tour Schedule

The Rafa Nadal Academy Padel Tour USA by Playtomic will visit four cities:

  • Miami — March 13–15 at Padel X
  • Austin — April 24–26 at Padel 39
  • Miami (again) — May 8–10 at Ultra Padel Miami
  • New York City — Dates TBC at Reserve New York, in the heart of Manhattan

Powered by Playtomic

Backing the US expansion is Playtomic, the world's largest racket sports community platform. Through its app, Playtomic makes it easy to book courts, connect with other players, and stay focused on what matters most — enjoying the game. With padel growing rapidly across North America, the partnership gives the tour both the reach and the infrastructure to make a real impact in a market that's only going to get bigger.

Laura Rivas, Director of Sponsorships at Playtomic, summed up the excitement: "Our mission is to drive the global growth of racket sports through technology. We're confident in this format, which strengthens the community and brings competition to new players in a country that is key to the future of padel."

Babolat On Board

Babolat is also a key partner of the circuit. Players will receive Babolat products in their Welcome Packs, and winners will take home Babolat racquets — a fitting reward from one of the sport's most iconic brands.

What This Means for the Academy

Maribel Nadal, Deputy General Manager of the Rafa Nadal Academy, described the move as a landmark moment: "After the great reception we've had in Spain and the start of the circuit in Italy, taking the leap to the United States is a very important step for us. Doing this with a strategic partner like Playtomic allows us to continue bringing our methodology, our values, and our approach to competition to new players and new communities."

A Growing Global Circuit

The US launch is just one part of a busy 2026 calendar. The Spanish leg of the tour will pass through Santander, Madrid, Cadiz, Valladolid, Estepona, Seville, Valencia, and Gijon, before culminating at the Rafa Nadal Academy's home base in Manacor. The Italian circuit — also finishing in Mallorca — will stop in Rome, Turin, Perugia, Bari, Bergamo, and Florence.

About the Rafa Nadal Academy

Founded in 2016 in Manacor, the Rafa Nadal Academy has built a global reputation for developing world-class tennis talent. Its padel offering has grown just as impressively, with nine outdoor and ten indoor courts, dedicated training programmes for juniors and adults, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, wellness facilities, dining, and accommodation — everything needed for both high performance and an unforgettable sporting experience.

With the Padel Tour now spanning three countries and thousands of players competing across the amateur circuit, this is shaping up to be the most exciting chapter yet for the Rafa Nadal Academy Padel Tour.
