National Padel League Strengthens Its Standing as the Nation’s Leading Amateur Team Platform with USA National Team League Season 1 Finals in North Miami
Mar 02, 2026
After delivering a milestone inaugural campaign that reshaped the competitive structure of American padel, the National Padel League (NPL) is set to stage the Season 1 National Finals of its USA National Team League. Scheduled for March 13–15 at Reserve Sole Mia in North Miami, the event will cap a groundbreaking season that firmly positioned the NPL as the country’s premier amateur team padel platform.
A Defining First Season for U.S. Amateur Padel
The Fall 2025 launch of the USA National Team League introduced a scalable, merit-driven competition model that moved beyond isolated local tournaments to establish a truly national framework. Supported by the U.S. Padel Association (USPA), the league activated 37 cities across six regions, demonstrating strong nationwide appetite for structured, team-based competition.
Highlights from Season 1 include:
- 1,900+ registered players, underscoring the sport’s rapid domestic growth
- 160+ teams nationwide, representing 19 padel clubs across the U.S.
- Structured competitive pathway, featuring a City Stage → Regional Championship → National Finals progression
- Broad demographic participation, with competitors ranging from 14 to 71 years old
“This season wasn’t just about playing padel; it was about building a legitimate, merit-based infrastructure for the sport in the U.S.,” said National Padel League Director, Luis Fernando Ramirez Aristeguieta. “By connecting local clubs to a national stage, we have created a validated platform where players can truly represent their cities and compete for a national title. The scale we’ve achieved in Season 1 is just the beginning.”
Championship Stage: The Road Ends in Miami
The Season 1 National Finals will bring together 380 qualified athletes who earned their places through highly competitive regional championships. Hosted at Reserve Sole Mia — North Miami’s premier padel and lifestyle destination — the event will provide a world-class environment befitting a national championship.
Enhancing the experience, the NPL has partnered with RacquetX as its Official Experiential Partner. All finalists will receive three-day passes to RacquetX, seamlessly connecting top-tier amateur competition with North America’s leading racquet sports festival and reinforcing the league’s role at the center of the U.S. padel ecosystem.
Commercial Momentum: The Delta Golden Ticket
Season 1 also featured the innovative Delta Golden Ticket campaign, which awards national champions with travel vouchers. The initiative underscores the NPL’s ability to integrate meaningful commercial partnerships into the amateur landscape, delivering a professional-caliber atmosphere and elevated rewards structure for players.
