The USTA National Clay Court Championships wrapped up with Tristan Stratton and Addison Lindsay capturing the boys’ and girls’ 18s singles titles, while several Florida players also delivered standout performances across age divisions. 

Stratton, 16, of Forest Hills, N.Y., won the boys’ 18s singles title after defeating No. 17 seed Noah Bayon of Lexington, S.C., 4-6, 6-3, 7-6(1), in the final. Stratton, the No. 10 seed, defeated four consecutive seeded players on his way to the championship.

In the girls’ 18s singles final, Lindsay, 18, of Mill Hall, Pa., defeated Julia Seversen of Trabuco Canyon, Calif., 6-4, 6-7(6), 6-4, to claim the title.

The USTA National Clay Court Championships, one of five junior USTA National Championship events in 2026, were held last week at seven locations across the country, with singles and doubles competition across the 18s, 16s, 14s and 12s age groups.

Florida players made a major impact throughout the event. No. 12 seed Gurbaaz Narang of Orlando defeated No. 9 seed Joshua Dolinsky of Brooklyn, N.Y., 7-6(5), 6-4, to capture the boys’ 16s singles title.

Top-seeded Nikol Davletshina of Boca Raton won the girls’ 16s singles title, defeating No. 2 seed Olivia Lin of Lexington, Mass., 6-1, 7-6(4). Davletshina also won the girls’ 16s doubles title with her sister Daniela Davletshina.

Florida was also represented in the younger divisions, with No. 5 seed Lucy Dupere of Boca Raton winning the girls’ 14s singles title and Miguel Valencia of Pinecrest capturing the boys’ 12s singles crown.

In boys’ 18s doubles, second-seeded Alexander Wriedt of Spicewood, Texas, and William McEwan of Austin, Texas, defeated No. 1 seeds William Freshwater of Naples, Fla., and Lucas Smith of Charleston, S.C., 3-6, 6-4, 6-3.

In the girls’ 18s doubles final, Autumn Xu of Frisco, Texas, and Enya Hamilton of Addison, Texas, defeated Blythe Sturman of Charlottesville, Va., and Elana Zaretsky of Braintree, Mass., 8-6.

First-seeded Nathan Lee of Tustin, Calif., won the boys’ 14s singles title, while Lindy Zhou of Glendale, Calif., rounded out the singles champions by winning the girls’ 12s title.

The National Clay Court Championships remain one of the key proving grounds in American junior tennis, bringing together top players from across the country for one of the most important clay-court events on the USTA junior calendar.
