Next up, we provide an overview of this year's record-breaking Delray Beach Open. We include some background on the strength of American tennis this year reflecting on the DBO's all-American semifinal matchups. Also, we give you a recap on the activities that kept party goers busy between matches this year.

USTA Florida provides a important message from President Phil Girardi, a look at college tennis in the state of Florida, a review of the AMPLIFY project and efforts to highlight Black tennis excellence, Women's History Month, and USTA Florida's Wheelchair Tennis Showcase at the Delray Beach Open this year.

In our cover story, Tommy Paul opens up about his love for tennis in Florida and takes us back to his junior playing days based in Boca Raton. He also reveals some secrets to his fierce fitness routine with trainer Franco Herrero over at the Evert Tennis Academy.

We provide key local news items to showcase what's happening around the Sunshine State in our new Drop Shots section. And, Dave "Koz" Kozlowski teaches you everything you need to know about the long-standing Sarasota Open. We take you inside a VIP gathering at the Rick Macci Academy. And Adam Ross pays tribute to legendary tennis journalist and historian Richard Evans in Autograph Corner.

At the PTR's International Racquets Conference, we catch up with PTR CEO Dan Santorum to learn more about the company's move to Saddlebrook Resort in the Tampa area. And we catch up with Czech sisters Brenda and Linda Fruhvirtova to learn more about their recovery at Boca Cryo after working on tennis-specific strength and conditioning. And Dr. Richard Cohen provides his quick mental toughness tip.

This issue and all issues moving forward are dedicated in loving memory of Florida Tennis Founder Jim Martz.
