The 2025 PIF ATP Race to Turin Heats Up

As the summer hard-court swing kicks off, the PIF ATP Live Race to Turin is starting to solidify, offering a clear picture of which players are on track to qualify for the season-ending Nitto ATP Finals. Set for November in Turin, Italy, this prestigious event features the top eight singles players based solely on their performance throughout the calendar year. With only a few months remaining in the 2025 season, every point counts.

At the top of the leaderboard, Carlos Alcaraz is the first to qualify for the ATP Finals with his 7,540 points. The Spaniard has backed up his Grand Slam success with remarkable consistency and is assured a spot in Turin for the fourth consecutive season. Close behind is Jannik Sinner, who has tallied 6,000 points and is riding high after his Wimbledon triumph. With consistent results all season and momentum on his side, Sinner looks poised to return to Turin not just as a qualifier, but as a serious title favorite.

Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev hold the next two positions, both surpassing 3,000 points. Djokovic, despite playing a reduced schedule, remains in the hunt thanks to deep runs at majors, while Zverev’s solid results on clay and grass have kept him in the top tier. Both players are veterans of the ATP Finals and are eyeing another shot at the title.

In the mid-pack, Jack Draper (2,940 points), Lorenzo Musetti (2,610), and Taylor Fritz (2,465) have emerged as strong contenders. For Draper, this would mark a career-first ATP Finals appearance. Musetti and Fritz, meanwhile, are proving that they can be consistent forces throughout a demanding season, with Fritz carrying the banner as the top-ranked American in the Race.

Sitting in the critical eighth spot is Ben Shelton with 2,210 points. Just behind him are Casper Ruud (2,125) and Alex de Minaur (2,035), both of whom have ATP Finals experience and are likely to make a push in the coming weeks. With only a few hundred points separating these players, the battle for the final qualifying spots is expected to go down to the wire.

Several rising names remain in striking distance. Tommy Paul, Jakub Mensik, and Holger Rune are all within reach of the top 10. If any of them can string together a few big results during the U.S. Open Series or upcoming ATP 500s, they could leap into contention. The ATP Finals always leave room for late-season surges, and the back half of the calendar is ripe for drama.
