Tennis in Turin: Nitto ATP Finals to Stay in Italian City Through 2027
Aug 10, 2026
The Nitto ATP Finals will remain in Turin through 2027, extending one of the ATP Tour’s most successful host-city partnerships and keeping the season-ending showcase in Italy for at least one additional year.
The ATP and the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation announced the extension following five successful editions of the event in Turin, with a sixth set to take place in November 2026.
First held in Turin in 2021, the Nitto ATP Finals have become one of the sport’s premier annual events, bringing together the top eight singles players and doubles teams at the end of the ATP Tour season.
The 2025 edition set new marks on and off the court, attracting a record 229,879 spectators, a nine percent increase from the previous year. The final drew seven million viewers on Italian television, making it the most-watched tennis match in Italian TV history, while the event generated 218 million video views across ATP social channels, a 67 percent increase from 2024.
Prize money also reached an all-time high of $15.5 million, with Jannik Sinner earning $5.07 million after winning the title undefeated, the largest payout in tournament history.

The 2026 event will introduce several upgrades designed to enhance the fan, player and partner experience. A new open-view practice court in the Fan Village will give fans a closer look at players as they prepare for matches, while seating capacity inside Inalpi Arena will increase to more than 13,500. Four new courtside terraces and upgraded hospitality areas will also be added inside the arena.
“Our flagship event has gone from strength to strength in Turin, attracting global audiences, showcasing the sport’s best players and delivering a world-class fan experience,” said Andrea Gaudenzi, ATP Chairman. “Over the past five years, Turin has become synonymous with the Nitto ATP Finals, helping to elevate the event to new heights. The record-breaking numbers we’ve seen across prize money, fan attendance and TV viewership are a testament to the dedication of FITP, the City of Turin, Nitto and all our event partners. We’re delighted to continue building on that momentum together.”
For tennis fans, the extension provides continued clarity around one of the sport’s biggest destination events. The Nitto ATP Finals serve as the official close to the ATP Tour season, with the year’s top performers competing for one of the most prestigious titles outside the Grand Slams.
“Turin has proven over the years to be an outstanding host for the Nitto ATP Finals,” said Angelo Binaghi, FITP President. “For this reason, we have decided to continue together in 2027. It is a choice of continuity and trust in a city, a region, and a network of institutions and partners that have worked with great passion and expertise, helping to make this event one of the most appreciated on the global tennis calendar.
“Confirming Turin for 2027 allows us to plan the future with ambition and to further strengthen the bond between this event and the territory that has embraced and developed it. The extraordinary results we are already seeing in ticket sales for the 2026 edition show that the Nitto ATP Finals have truly captured the hearts of Italian and international fans. It is the most encouraging sign to continue investing in a project that represents a valuable asset for Italian sport and the country as a whole.”
Nitto will remain title partner through 2030, with the Nitto ATP Finals confirmed to take place in Italy through that period. Host venue arrangements beyond 2027 are still being evaluated, with additional updates expected in the future.
The 2026 Nitto ATP Finals will mark the sixth edition of the event in Turin, with the 2027 extension giving the city another year to host the ATP Tour’s season-ending championship.
