Amanda Anisimova Teams Up With Pure Leaf for Tennis-Inspired ‘Set Break’ Campaign

For Amanda Anisimova, taking a break has a meaning that goes well beyond a tennis changeover.

The Miami-raised WTA pro has teamed with Pure Leaf Iced Tea for a tennis-inspired campaign built around the idea that sometimes stepping away can be exactly what is needed to come back stronger.

It is a message with particular resonance for Anisimova, who stepped away from professional tennis in 2023 before returning to produce some of the best results of her career, including runs to the Wimbledon and US Open finals in 2025.

“Taking a break from tennis gave me the time and space I needed to reset,” Anisimova said. “The experience taught me that a break doesn't mean you've lost your drive. It can be exactly what you need to come back stronger, with a fresh perspective and greater confidence.”

Pure Leaf put the concept into action by surprising Anisimova with what the brand called a “Break Conference.” Instead of the press conference she was expecting, Anisimova was given an hour to step away from cameras and questions, reconnect with loved ones and reset over iced tea.

The campaign also extends to tennis fans through Pure Leaf’s limited-edition “Set Break Collection,” a series of seven drops featuring everything from tennis apparel and a custom leather racquet bag to a hammock made from upcycled tennis nets.

One of the most notable prizes arrives Sept. 6: Anisimova’s racquet model of choice, signed by the American star. Other drops include a premium mocktail kit, the “Reset Set” tennis apparel collection and the “Steep Suite,” an at-home sauna paired with a Pure Leaf-stocked cooler.

Fans can enter through individual drop posts on Pure Leaf’s Instagram account through Sept. 13.

“Tennis recognizes something many of us forget in our day-to-day lives: breaks have value,” said Zach Harris, Vice President and General Manager, Pepsi Lipton Tea Partnership North America. “The sport shows that moments to pause, regroup and refocus aren't time away from performance; they're often what make performance possible.”

The partnership also has a natural Florida connection. Anisimova was born in New Jersey but moved to Miami with her family at age 3, developing her tennis in South Florida before emerging as one of the leading American players of her generation.

For Pure Leaf, it makes for a campaign that feels unusually native to tennis: sometimes the smartest play really is knowing when to sit down for a minute.
