One-On-One Doubles coming to the 2025 ATX Open, a WTA 250 event

One-On-One Doubles has partnered with the 2025 ATX Open, a WTA 250 event, to host its inaugural Women's Invitational Tournament on Friday Night, February 28, at the Westwood Country Club in Austin, TX, starting at 6:00 p.m. and its Men's Tournament on Saturday morning, March 1. One-On-One Doubles showcases two matches on one court in its crosscourt singles serve-and-volley format. Tournament players are required to serve-and-volley on both serves or there is a loss of point; half volleys are allowed. Players earn a two-point bonus for winning volleys and overheads the opponent cannot touch. The tournament will feature Westwood Country Club's top adult players competing for the inaugural One-On-One Doubles title.

Christo van Rensburg, who was ranked #5 on the ATP Doubles Tour and #19 in Singles, is the Tournament Director for the ATX Open. Mariaan De Swardt, Director of Racquet Sports at Westwood Country Club, will help coordinate the events. De Swardt reached a #11 WTA Doubles ranking and #28 WTA Singles ranking during her playing career that included winning two Grand Slam Mixed Doubles titles. Ed Krass, One-On-One Doubles Tournament Founder, will make the trip to Austin to stage the event. Krass coached college tennis at Central Florida, Clemson and Harvard before starting his College Tennis Exposure Camps and One-On-One Doubles events.

The PTR International One-On-One Doubles Championships will be played-- as part of the PTR International Racquets Conference on Sunday, Feb. 23rd-- at Saddlebrook Resort in Wesley Chapel, FL. just 5 days before the ATX Open events. One-On-One Doubles has been played at ATP, USTA, USPTA, ITA and UTR National Tournaments over the years including four events at the home of the U.S. Open, the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
