Six-time Miami Open presented by Itaú champion Novak Djokovic will attempt to move another step closer to securing his 100th ATP title when he takes on Grigor Dimitrov in Friday's first semifinal. At 37 years and 10 months the Serbian is the oldest ATP Masters 1000 semifinalist, overtaking the previous record of 37 years and 7 months held by Roger Federer in Miami 2019.

Bulgarian Dimitrov is aiming to make back-to-back finals in Miami but faces a huge challenge having only beaten Djokovic once in 13 meetings.

Czech teenager Jakub Mensik makes his first ever ATP 1000 last four appearance. 19-year-old Mensik will face American No.1 Taylor Fritz who plays his first semifinal in Miami. His previous best performance came in 2023 in the quarterfinals.

World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka secured her spot in Saturday's Miami Open presented by Itaú final with a comprehensive 62 62 win over No.6 seed Jasmine Paolini. The top seed will feature in her 12th WTA 1000 final and her first in Miami.

American Jessica Pegula reached her first Miami Open final on her third attempt (SF in 2022 and 2023) when she ended the run of teenage wild card Alexandra Eala 76(3) 57 63 in the semifinal. In Saturday's final Pegula will be aiming to win her 4th WTA 1000 title.

Publix Padel Cup (PPC) continues on Courts 8 & 9 as the men's division reaches the quarterfinals stage and the women play semifinals. And the Miami Open Wheelchair Invitational (MOWI) sees the culmination of the wheelchair draws with 3/4 place playoffs and finals taking place on Grandstand Court from 1pm.
