HotelPlanner Tennis Tour Partners with Tecnifibre to Support Rising Pros

The HotelPlanner Tennis Tour has added a new equipment partner aimed at helping emerging professional players navigate one of the toughest stages of a tennis career.

The developmental circuit recently announced a partnership with Tecnifibre, the French racquet and string brand with a presence across the ATP and WTA Tours. 

Under the agreement, Tecnifibre will provide tournament balls and Lacoste apparel while also giving players access to discounts, equipment and potential sponsorship opportunities.

The partnership is designed to help players competing below the highest levels of professional tennis, where travel, coaching, equipment and tournament expenses can quickly become significant barriers to continuing a career.

Players who reach the round of 32 at a HotelPlanner Tennis Tour event will receive access to discounts on Tecnifibre products, including racquets, strings, bags and accessories.

The partnership also creates a potentially bigger opportunity for the Tour’s top performers. The top five players in the year-end HotelPlanner Tennis Tour leaderboard race will be eligible for sponsorship opportunities with Tecnifibre.

Tecnifibre said the agreement reflects its emphasis on supporting players before they reach the highest levels of the sport.
