American Express Expands Tennis Fan Experiences at 2026 US Open

American Express is expanding its presence at the 2026 US Open with a new collection of tennis experiences, hospitality spaces and on-site perks designed for both general fans and Card Members.

The longtime US Open partner will return to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center with its American Express Fan Experience beginning during Fan Week, adding new interactive attractions alongside several popular returning features.

Among the new activities is Tennis Rhythm Rally, a fast-paced digital tennis game that allows as many as seven fans to compete simultaneously for the day’s top score. Visitors will also be able to personalize their phones at a complimentary tennis-themed charm and chain station, with American Express Card Members receiving access to an additional charm and exclusive New York City-inspired options.

The company is also extending the tennis atmosphere beyond the tournament grounds. During select periods, Card Members will be able to receive a complimentary New York City subway or bus ride while supplies last, while tennis-themed American Express advertising will appear throughout the city’s transit system.

For Card Members looking for a place to step away from the crowds, the American Express Card Member Lounge will return with space for members and up to two guests. Inside, fans will find exclusive merchandise, a postcard station and a variety of food and beverage options. Platinum and Centurion Members will also have access to massage chairs where they can recharge while continuing to follow matches on a live stream.

The most premium experience will again be the Centurion Lounge, available to eligible Platinum and Centurion Members during the main tournament. The space will feature complimentary food and beverages, including dishes inspired by restaurants from chefs Kwame Onwuachi and Michael Solomonov, along with cocktails such as the US Open’s signature GREY GOOSE Honey Deuce.

Access to the Centurion Lounge will require a same-day one-hour reservation through Resy. Reservations are scheduled to open at 9:30 a.m. ET each tournament day beginning Aug. 30. Platinum Card Members can reserve for themselves and one guest, while Centurion Members can bring up to three guests, subject to availability.

Several familiar American Express perks will also return across the grounds. Card Members can pick up complimentary American Express radios at branded locations to listen to live match coverage while moving around the tennis center.

Eligible members will also be able to enroll in an on-site spending offer that provides $10 back after $100 in qualifying purchases. The American Express Shop in Fountain Plaza will offer a checkout-free option for snacks and drinks along with exclusive merchandise including caps, T-shirts and totes.

American Express has been connected with the US Open for more than three decades, making the tournament one of the company’s longest-running sports partnerships. The US Open is part of a broader American Express portfolio that includes more than 50 sports leagues, teams, venues and major events.

The latest activation reflects how major tennis tournaments increasingly extend far beyond the matches themselves. Fan Week, branded hospitality, exclusive merchandise, food, technology and interactive experiences have become a significant part of the modern US Open experience, giving sponsors another way to connect with spectators throughout their day on the grounds.

For fans heading to New York this summer, the American Express footprint will once again be spread throughout the tournament — from interactive tennis games and collectible merchandise to premium lounges and even the subway ride to Flushing Meadows.

More information about American Express experiences and eligibility requirements at the 2026 US Open is available through American Express and the US Open.
