Florida-based AirWayz gives tennis star Emma Raducanu an innovative digital platform

Headquartered in Jupiter, Fla., AirWayz has a mission to provide a safe, interactive platform offering online sports instruction so users can “train like a pro.” The company is showcasing exclusive content from British tennis star and former US Open champ Emma Raducanu.
The innovative content site features training, tips, and personal stories from world-class athletes like Raducanu. The 20-year-old tennis phenom is helping aspiring players take their game to the next level with AirWayz, donating all fees to a youth tennis organization in England.
“AirWayz enables athletes to cultivate relationships with fans who are excited to learn first-hand what makes their heroes the champions that they are,” explains founder and CEO Michael Murphy, M.D., a former Army Ranger, ER physician and founder/CEO of HealthChannels/ScribeAmerica.
AirWayz gives users of all ages access to today's sports icons without the risk of exposure to negative, abusive, and toxic online behavior. Numerous studies have shown the detrimental impact of social media, particularly on children and teens.
By requiring fans to subscribe to athletes’ pages, AirWayz filters out “trolls” and malicious or inappropriate comments. The platform doesn't track likes, follows, or subscribers. And comments are closely monitored using machine learning and moderation so athletes can focus on healthy, authentic engagement with fans.
In addition to tennis star Raducanu, other athletes on the platform include 2022 US Open golf champion Matthew Fitzpatrick, hockey great Brett Hull, world champion boxer Katie Taylor, and world-record Olympic gold medal swimmer Michael Phelps among others.
