Infographic: Can tennis players discover the fountain of youth?
May 09, 2024
The USTA recently highlighted research that points out tennis players live on average an additional 9.7 years longer than their sedentary counterparts. And world no. 1 ATP players in both singles and doubles are Novak Djokovic (turning 37 this month) and Rohan Bopanna (44 years old) — showcasing the ever-growing longevity in the sport.
But can diehard tennis players do even more to stay young?

Florida Tennis attended the Livelong Summit to learn more. The first-of-its-kind conference included over 35 doctors, scientists, and researchers sharing never-before-heard findings to attendees.
And over a thousand people attended the conference in West Palm Beach during its sold-out event in March to hear some of the world's most renowned experts in longevity and lifespan science reveal steps anyone can take to slow down the rate of aging.
Who was our favorite speaker? Dr. Michael Greger, author of How Not to Age, presented his latest research in a fascinating presentation. He discussed how certain foods and activities can help improve health and slow down the aging process. The infographic below presents some crucial tips from his presentation.

The audience gave Dr. Greger a standing ovation and we'd (strongly) recommend you check out his latest book. According to Livelong Summit founder Brad Inman, “The outpouring of interest, feedback, and takeaways from this event [was] unlike anything we’ve seen in our field.”
With topics ranging from anti-aging to biohacking, the event featured a plethora of in-depth knowledge during a variety of presentations, panels, and targeted breakout sessions. After its recent stop in South Florida, the next Livelong Summit event is scheduled for Los Angeles this August.
