William Turvey

William Turvey has a broad history with tennis, and has written about the sport since a young age. For Florida Tennis, he provides year-long national and international reporting about the ATP & WTA tours. He writes the “Weekly Update” series, a weekly article that provides information about storylines from the highest level of professional tennis. In addition, he sometimes writes stories for the printed magazine. 

Since a young age, Turvey has embraced the sport in every way, playing competitively and developing a deep passion. At age 12, he started TenniUpdate, a weekly newsletter that received acclaim from top journalists and had an impressive subscriber base. He has been credentialed at several events including the Delray Beach Open and the Hall of Fame Open. 

Apart from contributing to Florida Tennis, Turvey is currently writing a collection of essays about American tennis, and is starting a new publication that analyzes the sport from a never-before-seen perspective. He looks forward to continuing work for the magazine and venturing to more tournaments.
