Hexagon Cup Partners with The Padel Hub to Fuel UK Padel Boom
Jul 15, 2025
The team behind one of the world’s most exciting padel events has just announced its next major move and this time, in the UK.
The Hexagon Cup, known for its star-powered team format and headline-making Madrid event, has confirmed a new strategic partnership with The Padel Hub, one of the UK’s fastest-growing club networks. With five locations already open including Epsom, Slough, Reading, Crawley, and Whetstone and three more set to follow this year, The Padel Hub offers a strong platform to grow Hexagon’s grassroots presence in what’s fast becoming Europe’s most dynamic padel market.
The partnership comes at a pivotal moment for British padel. As participation soars and the UK earns its reputation as “the world’s most social padel nation” following recent Playtomic data. There’s growing demand for structured competitions, community-first clubs, and global-standard experiences. Enter Hexagon.
“This is a natural next step in our mission to bring the game closer to fans and players,” said Astrid Thams, Commercial Managing Director of the Hexagon Cup.
“The UK is showing incredible momentum, and The Padel Hub shares our ambition, energy, and belief in the power of padel to connect people.”
To mark the announcement, the Hexagon Amateur League, a new nationwide team competition, launched with a showcase tournament at Padel Hub Epsom. The event featured 12 amateur squads, including teams supported by former premier league footballers John Terry, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink as well as Sky Sports, Slazenger, and Femme UK.
With the partnership now official, the two organisations plan to work closely to bring the Hexagon Cup experience to UK fans, from amateur players to club regulars and future pros. As the Hexagon brand expands beyond Madrid, all signs suggest the UK will be one of its most important chapters yet.
