Hexagon Cup 2026: Star-Studded Teams Confirmed as Draft Finalised
Oct 16, 2025
The countdown to one of padel’s most exciting events is officially on. With the 2026 draft now complete, the Hexagon Cup has confirmed all eight team rosters ahead of its third edition, set to take place from 28 January to 1 February 2026 at Madrid’s iconic Caja Mágica.
And it’s shaping up to be the strongest field yet: 18 of the world’s top 20 players will compete, including the full women’s top 10 and eight of the top 10 men. Add to that an injection of new faces and Next Gen talent, and the stage is set for a thrilling blend of elite competition and breakout performances.
The draft saw bold moves across the board. KRÜ Padel, reigning champions, have brought in Sofía Araújo to join Federico Chingotto and lead their title defence. Rafa Nadal Academy, back-to-back finalists in 2024 and 2025, welcome Pablo Cardona, who played in the Next Gen category just two years ago and now returns as one of the sport’s most explosive professionals.
Other standouts include RL9 Team pairing superstar duo Agustín Tapia and Ariana Sánchez, while Team Bella brings back Bea González after injury, alongside new signing Beatriz Caldera. Meanwhile, fan-voted Hexagon Team selections include Carmen Goenaga and Fran Guerrero, rounding out a cast of characters that reflects the global depth and diversity of the sport.
“The level of competition this year is incredible,” said Sergio Lewin, Sporting Director of the Hexagon Cup. “Teams are becoming increasingly strategic with their signings, and the result is a tournament that promises drama, skill, and surprises from start to finish.”
The tournament will again feature a mixed team format, with men’s, women’s and Next Gen pairs, competing across a four-day group stage before Finals Sunday. Now in its third year, the Hexagon Cup continues to combine elite padel and entertainment, and its move to Caja Mágica signals a step up in scale, spectacle and fan experience.
The full tournament schedule will be released in the coming weeks. For now, the rosters are set — and the road to Madrid is well and truly underway.
