Groundbreaking Women’s Padel League prepares to Launch in 'America’s Padel Capital' Miami

A new era of women’s sports is set to begin with the launch of the 6lovesports ('6LS') Miami Women’s Padel League, a groundbreaking initiative designed to bring together athletic, passionate, and community-driven players in what is widely considered America’s padel capital, Miami.

Padel—a dynamic blend of tennis and squash— is the world’s fastest-growing sport, with an estimated 30m players across 100-plus nations falling in love with the highly-addictive and sociable racket sport. Having already become the number two sport in Spain, padel is surging in popularity globally, with the likes of the Netherlands, UK, France, Middle East region, and now, the United States taking to a sport that is seen as a cultural phenomenon. With 12 clubs and counting across Florida, including 5 located in Miami, the state is quickly becoming a hotspot for padel in the U.S. and Miami is now poised to become a hub for women who are eager to compete, connect, and elevate the game.

Established by renowned entrepreneur and lifetime athlete, Andi Neugarten-Maio, 6lovesports is on track to becoming the USA’s leading Women’s Padel Movement. Through the 6LS Miami Women’s Padel League, Neugarten-Maio aims to provide a platform for women of all skill levels to engage in friendly competition, foster camaraderie, and showcase their athleticism at a time when women’s sport is surging in popularity both nationally and at the global level. In addition to the league, 6LS will be offering tournaments, events and specific beginner clinics to get women to start to play.

The league’s inaugural season is set to kick off in January, featuring weekly matches and community events at the state of the art new Reserve SoLé Miami facility and the Reserve Miami Seaplane location.

With the support of local partners, sponsors, and padel enthusiasts, the league aims to grow into a cornerstone of women’s sports in South Florida and beyond. The 6LS Miami Women’s Padel League is more than just a competitive outlet; it’s a movement designed to celebrate the strength and spirit of women athletes, uniting them both on and off the court.

The league officially launches tonight with an exciting event from 5:00 to 8:30 PM at the stunning Reserve Miami Seaplane Base. The event featured a series of padel matches, a pro match showcasing Miami’s top women padel players, and a vibrant atmosphere filled with food, drinks, and community connection. Guests also enjoyed Reserve’s monthly wellness market, highlighting health, wellness, and padel related brands, enjoying an unforgettable night celebrating the energy, talent, and spirit of Miami's padel community ahead of the league’s inaugural season in January.
