World No. 1, Grand Slam Champions, Olympic Medalists Enter Delray Beach Open Doubles
Jan 29, 2025
The Delray Beach Open announced its world-class doubles entry list. Fans should be thrilled to watch some of the finest doubles players in the world including current and former No. 1 players, Grand Slam champions and Olympic medalists at the Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center Feb. 7-16.
Current doubles world No. 1 Marcelo Arevalo actually won back-to-back Delray Beach Open titles in 2022-23. He returns with new partner Horacio Zeballos, a former No. 1-ranked player currently at No. 7.
Meanwhile, former No. 1s Neal Skupski and Joe Salisbury are teaming up, as are Americans Austin Krajicek and Rajeev Ram. The Americans have both held the No. 1 ranking and won the Olympic silver medal together last summer in Paris, falling to John Peers in the gold medal match. Last week, Peers won the Australian Open mixed doubles title, defeating DBO entrant John-Patrick Smith in the final. Peers will partner with former No. 1 and DBO champion Jamie Murray in Delray Beach.
