UTA brings the heat to South Florida at the USTA Boys’ 18 & 16 National Clay Court Championships [Day 2]

Universal Tennis Academy (UTA), the premiere tennis training organization in Atlanta, has infiltrated South Florida this week for the USTA Boys' 18 & 16 Boys National Clay Court Championships.

The very best junior male tennis players in the country have descended upon Delray Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, and Boca Raton this week. During the tournament, UTA players from Atlanta have made themselves right at home — even navigating the brutal heat of South Florida.

With 9 locations and over 87 clay, hard and indoor courts around Atlanta, UTA is one of the South’s leading tennis academies. To compete in the tournament this week, top UTA players arrived from Atlanta including: Lukas Grossman, Charlie Burdell, Jack Burdell, Heys Parker, Pearce Lane, and Evan Rigsby.

Led by coaches Trey Walston and Noel Wadawu, the UTA athletes have handled themselves at the highest level (in competition and sportsmanship) and enjoyed the entire experience along the way.

Evan Rigsby has made the third round of the main draw for the boys 16’s and Charlie Burdell has done the same for the boys 18’s. The competition goes on all week.

While competing here in South Florida, the elite juniors from UTA have represented Atlanta in fine form. It's likely you'll be seeing these players competing in college tennis in the near future.
