The USTA recently announced the American players that will represent the U.S. Paralympic Tennis Team for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
The team will be led by eight-time Paralympic medalist David Wagner, who will be the lone representative in the quad division. Wagner will be making his sixth Paralympic appearance and has won four medals in both singles and doubles. His three gold medals all came in doubles (2004 Athens; 2008 Beijing; 2012 London) with partner Nick Taylor. He will be competing in singles only.
The men’s team will feature Casey Ratzlaff and Conner Stroud, who will compete in both singles and doubles and will be making their second Paralympic appearance after competing in Tokyo.

The women’s team will feature Dana Mathewson, who will be competing in her third Paralympic Games, as well as Maylee Phelps, who will be making her Paralympic debut. They will compete in both singles and doubles.
The teams will be coached by John Devorss and Jon Rydberg, who are both making their debuts as Paralympic coaches. Rydberg is a four-time Paralympian, while Devorss is the longtime U.S. World Team Cup coach. Both coached the U.S. teams at the 2023 Parapan American Games.
Team nominations are subject to approval by the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee and the International Tennis Federation.
The 2024 Paralympic Games will be held from Aug. 28 to Sept. 8 in Paris, with the tennis competition staged from Aug. 30 to Sept. 7 at Roland Garros. The U.S. has won 17 Paralympic medals (six gold) since wheelchair tennis became an official medal-awarded sport in 1992, which is second all-time behind the Netherlands.
