USTA Coaching and WeCOACH Select 30 Women for Aspiring Tennis Coaches Program

USTA Coaching and WeCOACH have selected 30 aspiring women coaches for the 2026 USTA Coaching Serving All: Aspiring Coaches powered by WeCOACH program, an initiative designed to create more pathways for women in tennis coaching. 

The program supports collegiate women tennis players, graduate assistants, recent graduates and emerging coaches who are interested in entering the tennis coaching profession. Participants will receive practical coaching tools, professional development support, reflective learning opportunities and access to a broader coaching network.

The 2026 cohort includes aspiring and emerging coaches from 18 states, with several Florida participants selected. Rachel Allen of Mary Esther, Madelyn Martin of Jacksonville, Jolie Miller of Brooksville and Madison Jade Molock of Ocala are among the 30 women chosen for the program.

Participants come from collegiate tennis programs and local tennis communities across the country. Many have already gained experience through youth programs, camps, clinics, private instruction and college team environments, while others have taken on leadership roles focused on mentoring, teaching and serving their communities through tennis.

As part of the program, the selected coaches will participate in a five-session virtual program and attend an in-person leadership event at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla. The event is designed to provide education, support and professional connections to help participants confidently pursue careers in coaching.

USTA Coaching will also provide the selected participants with complimentary WeCOACH memberships, giving them access to WeCOACH’s professional development platform, leadership resources and continuing education programming.

“Creating meaningful pathways for women to enter and thrive in coaching starts with supporting those who are eager to lead,” said Megan Rose, Managing Director of USTA Coaching. “These 30 participants have shown a clear commitment to tennis and to the impact coaches can have on players and communities. Together with WeCOACH, we are proud to provide the resources, education and support to help them take the next step in their coaching journeys.”
