Tommy Paul, Jessica Pegula Headline Blueair’s Big Tennis Push

Blueair is getting increasingly serious about tennis.

The air wellness brand recently announced American star Tommy Paul has joined its growing athlete roster, putting him alongside fellow U.S. standout Jessica Pegula and extending a tennis strategy built around performance, recovery and the environments in which athletes train, sleep and recharge.

Paul, currently ranked No. 21 in the world, unveiled the partnership at a Blueair VIP suite. The former junior world No. 1 joins Pegula and NBA player Josh Hart among the brand’s athlete ambassadors.

“This season’s success has really come down to recovery, rest, and the daily rituals that get me ready to compete. I’ve become more aware of how my surroundings affect my health,” Paul said. “Teaming up with Blueair was a natural fit because they understand that elite performance starts with the air an athlete breathes, sleeps, and recovers in, at home or on the road.”

The connection between Paul and Pegula goes beyond their nationality and presence near the top of professional tennis. Both work with physiotherapist Sebastian Cozzarin, who has also joined Blueair’s group of coaches and experts as the company pushes the idea that air quality belongs in the broader conversation around athlete wellness and recovery.

“We’re incredibly proud to welcome Tommy Paul to the Blueair family,” Blueair Chief Executive Officer Andy Lu said. “Tommy represents a generation of athletes who treat rest and recovery as seriously as competition.”

Pegula’s partnership has already moved into product collaboration. Ahead of the US Open, Blueair introduced a limited-edition Jessica Pegula x Blueair AlwaysCool Handheld Fan, finished in a chartreuse-and-navy colorway inspired by Pegula and featuring her signature on the handle.

The $69.99 fan offers 100 airflow settings, USB-C charging and up to 32 hours of battery life, according to Blueair. It also became the company’s first athlete-designed colorway.

“I want people to realize that comfort is part of performance. If you're overheating, you're not recovering, and that shows up in how you play,” Pegula said. “Recovery isn't only the big stuff for me like sleep and ice baths. A lot of it is the small resets in between, and this has become one of mine.”

Paul, meanwhile, has highlighted Blueair’s Classic Pro CP7i purifier, AlwaysCool Handheld Fan and 2-in-1 Pro Purify + Humidify among his preferred products.

For Blueair, the two American stars give the brand something increasingly valuable in tennis: elite athletes who can connect high-performance credibility with products designed for everyday homes, travel and recovery.
