Taylor Fritz Wins, Tennis Fans Eat: Chipotle Will Turn His US Open Run Into BOGOs
Aug 25, 2026
Taylor Fritz has a little extra pressure in New York this year. Every time he wins, Chipotle has to give away more food.
Chipotle has launched “Every Win Tastes Better,” a US Open promotion tied directly to the top-ranked American man’s progress through the singles draw. Following each Fritz victory, fans will get a shot at buy-one-get-one-free entrée offers — with the size of the giveaway increasing every round.
It starts with 2,500 BOGOs after a first-round victory. A second-round win moves the number to 3,000, followed by 3,500 in the third round, 4,000 in the round of 16 and 4,500 if Fritz reaches the quarterfinals. A semifinal victory would trigger 5,000 offers. If Fritz reaches the final and wins his semifinal, Chipotle says 10,000 BOGOs will be available.

After each singles win, Fritz will post a unique code to his Instagram Story. The first eligible fans to text the code to 888-222 can claim the offer while supplies last.
The partnership has some actual history behind it. Fritz has been a Team Chipotle athlete for three seasons and wears the restaurant brand’s logo on his sleeve. Earlier this month in Washington, D.C., Fritz told reporters that Chipotle was not merely sponsor placement.
“It’s great. Yeah, I eat it all the time. I’m not even kidding. I ate it before my match today,” Fritz said during the Mubadala Citi DC Open.
Chipotle is leaning into that relationship in New York with another bit of tennis-meets-burrito absurdity.

The company has teamed with Penn on a limited-edition tennis ball caddy styled after one of Chipotle’s foil-wrapped burritos. Fritz will appear Wednesday, August 26 at Chipotle’s 600 Third Avenue restaurant in Manhattan, where the first 30 eligible guests arriving between 10:30 and 11 a.m. will receive access to the appearance and one of the caddies. Each comes with a can of the new Pro Penn Marathon+ tennis balls.
“Anyone who follows me knows I eat a lot of Chipotle when I'm playing tournaments,” Fritz said in announcing the campaign. “I love that every time I win a singles match in New York, fans have another chance to score a BOGO. I'm trying to make them give away as much as possible.”
There is a larger prize at stake. Fritz is trying to become the first American man since Andy Roddick in 2003 to win the US Open singles championship.
Should he get close, Chipotle could find itself buying a lot of dinner.
