Olympic Medalists Prevail in Doubles Final

Nikola Mektic and Austin Krajicek are both former world No. 1s and Grand Slam champions. Mektic is an Olympic gold medalist (2020) from Croatia and Krajicek is a silver medalist (2024) from the United States.

After splitting sets, the Olympic medalists saved championship point at 8-9 in the deciding tiebreak and eventually prevailed 11-9 to win their first title as a team. It was also Krajicek's first as a dad of his 2-month-old daughter.
