Professional Tennis Registry: Greg 'Moose' DeMoustes is the 2025 Florida Professional of the Year

The Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) proudly announces Greg "Moose" DeMoustes as the 2025 Florida Professional of the Year. DeMoustes has distinguished himself through his comprehensive approach to racquet sports development and his dedicated efforts to promote inclusivity within the tennis community.

"Being awarded this prestigious honor to represent the state of Florida as Pro of the Year is humbling," said DeMoustes. "I couldn't be more grateful to the PTR/PPR organization and our members for seeing my passion, dedication, and love for community. It is a true privilege being able to work in the racquets industry."

With 17 years of experience as a certified professional across multiple organizations including PTR, PPR, RSPA, and PADEL MBA, DeMoustes has consistently demonstrated leadership in advancing racquet sports. His recent completion of the 2025 Certified Racquet Sports Executive Program underscores his commitment to professional development and excellence in the field.

DeMoustes's impact extends well beyond traditional coaching roles. As the founder of WE PLAY for PINK and WE PLAY for PRIDE charity events, he has successfully merged athletics with community service, supporting both breast cancer awareness and the LGBTQ community. His dedication to diversity and inclusion in racquet sports is further exemplified through his roles on the RSPA National DEI Task Force Committee and his recent recognition with the 2024 USPTA Florida Bob Ryland Diversity Award.

His expertise and insights have been widely recognized, leading to his selection as a presenter at the 2024 USPTA World Racquets Conference, where he spoke on 'Diversity of Thought.' As Regional President of RSPA Florida and a board member of Women Coaching Racquet Sports, DeMoustes continues to advocate for expanded access and opportunities within racquet sports.

"Athletics has always played a major role in my life and upbringing," DeMoustes reflected. "The life lessons sports teach us take us way beyond the court or field. Thank you, PTR, for recognizing my contributions to tennis, coaching, leadership, and making a positive impact on our communities."
