Nearly Half the ATP Tour Now Plays Dunlop
Oct 07, 2026
Open a can of balls at an ATP tournament these days and there is nearly a coin-flip chance the name on them will be Dunlop.
Dunlop has expanded its official-ball presence across professional tennis to approximately 48% of ATP Tour tournaments in 2026, according to the company, strengthening a footprint that already stretches from Florida to some of the biggest stages in Europe and Australia.
The latest move adds all seven tournaments in the ATP Tour’s fall European indoor hard-court swing to Dunlop’s portfolio, including the Rolex Paris Masters, Swiss Indoors Basel and Erste Bank Open in Vienna. Dunlop also extended agreements with eight major spring clay-court tournaments through 2028.

The result: Dunlop balls are now used at six of the ATP Tour’s nine Masters 1000 tournaments.
For Florida tennis fans, the brand is already a familiar presence. Dunlop supplies the official ball at the Miami Open and Delray Beach Open, giving the company a major footprint at two of the state’s signature professional tennis events. It also became the official ball of the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells this year, meaning Dunlop now powers both legs of the celebrated Sunshine Double.
The expansion is another step in a relationship with the ATP Tour that dates to 2019. Dunlop also supplies balls to the season-ending Nitto ATP Finals and Next Gen ATP Finals, while maintaining its long-running role as official ball supplier of the Australian Open.

The numbers have been moving quickly. Dunlop says its balls were used at 28 of 67 ATP Tour tournaments in 2025, approximately 42%. Its 2026 tournament share has now climbed to approximately 48%.
That makes the familiar yellow ball increasingly difficult to miss.
While racquet sponsorships tend to get the glamour — the logos in players’ hands, the new frames and signature paint jobs — tournament balls operate differently. Every serve, rally and match at an official-ball event runs through the same product.
And in 2026, nearly half the ATP Tour is bouncing Dunlop.
