Kalshi Makes Big Tennis Bet as US Open’s First Prediction Market Partner

Prediction markets have officially arrived on one of tennis’ biggest stages.

The USTA has named Kalshi the first Official Prediction Market Partner of the US Open, launching an exclusive, multi-year agreement beginning with the 2026 tournament.

Kalshi branding will appear across US Open digital platforms and throughout the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, including on-court signage. The company also plans to bring its real-time market data into US Open content, including match previews, draw analysis, recaps and daily highlights.

For Kalshi, tennis is becoming serious business. The company says tennis-related trading volume on its platform has increased 25-fold year over year, making the sport one of its fastest-growing categories.

“We’re relentless about keeping tennis at the cutting edge of global sports innovation and fan connection,” USTA CEO Craig Tiley said. “Partnering with Kalshi gives us an opportunity to pioneer that next generation of fan engagement while ensuring the integrity of our sport.”

The agreement goes beyond signage and market data. Kalshi plans US Open experiences for its users ranging from premium hospitality and behind-the-scenes access to on-court sessions, player opportunities and activations on the tournament grounds.

Kalshi co-founder and CEO Tarek Mansour said the New York-based company sees the US Open partnership as both a hometown investment and an opportunity to deepen the way fans follow matches.

“We’re proud to partner with the USTA to give fans even more ways to engage with the game they love,” Mansour said. “That’s the standard for how leagues and prediction markets should partner.”

The partnership also places unusual emphasis on competitive integrity. Kalshi and the USTA said markets involving areas including umpire decisions, player injuries and code violations will be restricted. Kalshi has also entered a confidential data-sharing agreement with the International Tennis Integrity Agency for real-time market surveillance.

The move is part of a much broader push by Kalshi into sports. The company recently announced partnerships with five Major League Baseball clubs and already has a multi-year agreement with the Pro Padel League.

For tennis, however, the US Open represents a major leap. Kalshi now has its name attached to one of the sport’s four Grand Slams — and plans to expand its activations and integrations further beginning in 2027.
