INTENNSE Tennis preseason kicks off in Florida

The excitement is building as INTENNSE prepares to kick off its first official preseason event with a thrilling head-to-head clash between the INTENNSE Tampa and INTENNSE Jacksonville teams on Feb 2nd at SVB Tennis Center. This event marks the beginning of a new chapter in the world of tennis, with two teams set to compete in a dynamic dual match that will leave fans on the edge of their seats.

The weekend kicks off on Saturday, Feb. 1, with the junior trials, offering young, aspiring tennis players the chance to showcase their talent. Starting at 10 a.m., the trials will feature 12 exciting matches, all played in BOLTS—10-minute intervals designed to add speed and intensity to the sport. The 12 matches will include boys' singles, girls' singles, and mixed doubles. Winners from the trials will earn the chance to become backup players for the Pro team on Sunday.

The action will heat up on Sunday, Feb. 2, with the preseason dual match between INTENNSE Tampa and INTENNSE Jacksonville. Starting at 2 p.m., the match will feature three exciting showdowns: a men's singles match, a women's singles match, and a mixed doubles match. This dual match is the perfect way to kick off the season and is guaranteed to set the tone for the thrilling action that will follow.

The SVB Tennis Center in Zephyrhills will be the home for Team Tampa. Leading the charge for Team Tampa is coach Pascall Collard, a Belgium native and advisory board member of INTENNSE. Meanwhile, The Junior Tennis Champions Center (JTCC) is proud to be the host of Jacksonville’s team with Claudio Pistolesi, a tennis icon with deep roots in the sport, supporting as both a player and a coach. 

Fans will have the unique opportunity to interact with team captains @TheForehandGuy and Noureldin Adam, along with a range of other top players and coaches. Also, DJ Mad Linx, Florida Tennis Entertainment Director, will be adding to the event's festivities at the kickoff event.
