INTENNSE Announces Draft Order for League’s First Player Draft

INTENNSE™ has announced the official draft order for its inaugural live player draft, set for March 13 at RacquetX, inside the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The historic event will feature 80 player selections — 40 men and 40 women — over a three-hour span, marking a major milestone as INTENNSE expands from three to 10 professional teams for the 2026 season.
The snake-style draft will begin with the men’s first round, followed by the women’s first round, alternating in the same format through each subsequent round. The draft order, determined by random selection in February, sets the stage for what promises to be a defining night in the league’s evolution.
A total of 373 players (229 men and 144 women) registered to participate, underscoring the league’s rapid growth and rising momentum entering its second season.
“We were overwhelmed not only by the volume, but also by the quality of the 373 players who applied to join us this season. This level of interest speaks volumes about how the word is spreading across the tennis world,” said Barry Fulcher, INTENNSE Commissioner. “We undertook a thorough interview process, which enabled us to narrow the field to the 80 players who will be available for our coaches to draft on March 13. It will be exciting to see how the draft unfolds and which teams our 2026 season players will join.”
The INTENNSE Live Draft will begin at 6:00 p.m. ET and is expected to run approximately three hours. Real-time updates will be shared across INTENNSE social media channels, and a draft special broadcast will be produced for later release.
