How will the tennis unfold at the Billie Jean King Cup Finals?

The draw for the 2026 Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Finals will take place on Thursday, June 11, in Shenzhen, China, with eight nations set to learn their path to the title.
The draw is scheduled for 15:00 local time in Shenzhen, which is 07:00 GMT, and will be livestreamed on the BJK Cup YouTube channel and BillieJeanKingCup.com.
The 2026 Finals will be held at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Centre Arena for the second straight year from Sept. 22-27.

Last year, Italy won a second consecutive title — and the nation’s sixth Billie Jean King Cup title overall — with victory against the USA.
The seeded nations for the draw are based on the latest Billie Jean King Cup nations rankings. The seeded teams will be placed on the drawboard before the unseeded nations are drawn one-by-one against them.

This year’s Finals will be the second edition to feature eight teams competing in a knockout format, mirroring the structure of the Davis Cup Finals.
All ties at the Finals will consist of three matches — two singles matches followed by a doubles match. All matches will be played as best-of-three tiebreak sets.

The 2026 Billie Jean King Cup Play-offs will take place during the week commencing Nov. 16. Winning nations from the Play-offs will join the teams competing in the 2026 Finals in the 2027 Billie Jean King Cup Qualifiers.
