Davis Cup Tennis Builds Momentum in 2026 with Expanded Visa Partnership

Visa will return as the Official Payment Partner of the Davis Cup for 2026, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) recently announced.

After a successful first year in 2025, the renewed agreement will significantly elevate the scope of the partnership for 2026 as Davis Cup commercial momentum continues to build.

In addition to an increased presence at the Davis Cup Final 8 in Bologna from 24-29 November, Visa will also activate with on-court visibility for the first time at the 33 ties taking place around the world on 18-20 September.

Alongside enabling seamless and secure payments, Visa will offer exclusive experiences and access to Visa cardholders as the Official Payment Partner.

The expansion continues the 2026 Davis Cup commercial momentum, with Visa, MG and new partners Betsson joining the existing premium portfolio of partners, including Rolex, Fage and Corpay.

Ross Hutchins, ITF Chief Executive, said: "I am very proud that Visa are returning to the Davis Cup family with a partnership of major significance. We are delighted that Visa appreciated the value of the opening year Davis Cup relationship in 2025 and have agreed to vastly elevate the partnership in many ways. Partners like Visa are essential to the continued commercial growth of the competition, and I am excited by the momentum we are building this year. Premium global brands see value in partnering with our prestigious competition, and we are thrilled to be working with the team at Visa again this year."

Dylan Leslie, Head of Sponsorships, Visa Europe said: "The Davis Cup is a standout moment in the tennis calendar, known for its energy and global fanbase. As fans travel and engage with live sport in new ways, expectations are rising for more seamless experiences. Through our partnership, we’re helping meet those expectations while giving cardholders more ways to connect with the atmosphere and get closer to the action."

The 2026 Davis Cup season began with 39 ties played around the world in the first week of February, including the Qualifiers 1st Round, which saw the 13 tie winners take their first step toward the Final 8. The Qualifiers 2nd Round will determine the seven nations that will join hosts and defending champions Italy at the Final 8 in November.

The Davis Cup celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2025. Having begun as a competition between USA and Great Britain in 1900, it is now the world’s largest annual international team competition in sport, with a record 160 nations entered in 2026.
