Celebrate National Tennis Month this May with your own event — here's how

May is National Tennis Month and USTA Florida is excited to celebrate everything the sport brings to the state. As part of the organization celebrating 75 years of Florida tennis, Event Kits were introduced as a way for anyone to bring the excitement to their community.  

The first part of the year saw a range of local 75th Celebrations from Edward Waters University’s Welcome Tiger Tennis Community Day in Jacksonville, to West Lakes District’s Black History Month Health & Fitness Day in Orlando, to Disco Tennis in Ft. Myers, and more.

The yearlong party has been thrilling so far and USTA Florida is encouraging every tennis facility, director, organizer, anyone involved with tennis to request an Event Kit and join in on the fun this May to not only celebrate 75 years of Florida tennis, but all that tennis has to offer in celebration of National Tennis Month. 

What qualifies an event to receive a kit? Anything related to tennis. If you have an existing event or are planning one in the future, you can apply to receive a kit today. Examples of events would be tournaments, tennis social hours, clinics, and much more! Once your event has been approved it will appear on the USTA Florida 75th web hub and featured on our calendar.

The Event Kit includes a Mesh Fence Banner, Event Towel, Stickers, a $100 Voucher for exclusive 75th Anniversary USTA Florida Swag, Florida Tennis Trail poster, USTA Florida Partner information and special offers. Virtual tools such as Celebration Event Ideas, Save the Date Templates, Press Release Templates, Marketing Best Practices, Celebration Spotify Playlist, and more.   

When it comes time to host your event, make sure to share the fun on social media using the special USTA Florida 75th Anniversary hashtag “#USTAFL75” so everyone can see why they should get a kit.
