BOSS Brings Grand Slam Style to the Australian Open With Stunning New Tennis Collection
Oct 31, 2026
The Australian Open is getting a serious wardrobe upgrade, and BOSS is making sure everyone notices.
The German fashion powerhouse has unveiled its new BOSS x Australian Open collection, offering a first look at the sophisticated new style coming to Melbourne Park in January 2027. Think sharp tailoring, modern performance wear, cool blues and the kind of effortless tennis fashion that looks just as good at a rooftop cocktail party as it does courtside.
BOSS takes over from Ralph Lauren as the Australian Open's Official Lifestyle Outfitter, marking a major changing of the guard at one of tennis' most fashionable Grand Slams.

And the makeover extends well beyond the players' lounge.
Up to 4,000 tournament staff, officials, umpires and ballkids will wear BOSS-designed uniforms, bringing a cohesive new look to Melbourne Park. The brand's presence will extend throughout the grounds, including Rod Laver Arena, with exclusive merchandise, retail experiences and hospitality activations.
The newly revealed collection blends classic tennis aesthetics with contemporary fashion. Chambray-blue pinstripes, tailored shorts, sporty knit dresses, technical blazers, bomber jackets and reversible windbreakers give the collection a distinctive personality. Performance fabrics and lightweight construction are designed with Melbourne's notoriously demanding summer conditions in mind.

It's an ambitious look, and one that carries the BOSS signature without losing the sport's heritage.
The new uniforms have already made their runway debut. On October 24, the Australian Open brought its fashion credentials to Melbourne Fashion Week, unveiling the BOSS ballkid looks alongside other AO 2027 apparel at the AO Edit runway presentation.
Fans can get in on the action, too. The BOSS x Australian Open capsule collection is available online, with replica tournament apparel, accessories and lifestyle pieces designed to travel well beyond Melbourne.
At the tournament itself, BOSS is planning an approximately 800-square-meter, two-level pop-up retail experience, another sign of just how seriously the company is approaching its new Grand Slam partnership.

For BOSS, tennis is familiar territory. The brand has longstanding ties to the sport, including partnerships with American star Taylor Fritz and Italian standout Matteo Berrettini, along with the BOSS OPEN in Stuttgart.
The Australian Open deal gives the label an enormous global stage to expand that presence, placing its fashion and lifestyle collections before millions of tennis fans.
For the Australian Open, the partnership adds another layer of polish to a tournament already known for blending world-class tennis, entertainment, hospitality and summer style.
The 2027 Australian Open is shaping up to be quite the fashion show.
And this time, BOSS is dressing the house.
