Ahead of the US Open, Wilson goes all-in on tennis
Aug 20, 2025
Wilson Sporting Goods Co. returns to New York City with a series of high-impact events, exclusive product unveilings and athlete-driven moments in celebration of the US Open. From on-court product debuts to off-court experiences, Wilson® will bring the energy, innovation and community of tennis to life across the city.
Wilson will unveil new, cutting-edge equipment on-court with key athletes across their roster. Alex De Minaur, Marta Kostyuk, Maria Sakkari and more will be playing with Wilson’s new Ultra v5 Racket, which released last month. The Ultra® franchise has been reimagined over the years to meet the needs of today’s players, with v5 being guided by direct feedback from Wilson’s athletes to deliver the next generation of explosive power and accuracy.
As part of Wilson’s Tennis 360 platform, Kostyuk, Victoria Mboko, Nico Jarry, Peyton Stearns and Alycia Parks will wear the latest “Wilson Sport Professionals” sportswear collection, along with Intrigue® Tour (women) and Rush Pro® 4.5 (men) tennis shoes. The WSP collection is inspired by iconic moments in tennis history, crafted with technical elegance and streamlined, performance-driven cuts.

“As a longstanding partner of the US Open, we always want to ensure we show up meaningfully and authentically for our global tennis community, both on and off the tennis court,” says Jason Collins, Global General Manager of Wilson Racquet Sports. “Wilson is proud to continue our legacy as the official ball and racquet stringer of the tournament, while creating new experiences that push the culture of tennis forward for players and fans alike.”
With a continued focus on personalization for their athletes, Wilson worked with World No. 1, Aryna Sabalenka, to design a custom Blade® v9 racket for her to play with during the tournament. Themed “The Fighter™,” the limited-edition racket features a bold flame-inspired design that channels her passion and power into every swing. The racket will be sold in limited quantities in select stores and online beginning Aug. 25 for $279.
Off the court, Wilson will create bold, immersive experiences in and around New York City for fans to partake in the spirit of the sport. Located in the heart of SoHo at 216 Lafayette, the Wilson Tennis Club will be the brand’s pop-up epicenter from Thurs., Aug. 21 – Sunday, Aug. 24, offering giveaways, product demos and player appearances to the public.
Once again, the ever-popular Wilson store on the tournament grounds will be open for fans to shop the latest from the leading tennis brand. Wilson’s performance tennis rackets seen on-tour, including Ultra v5 and “The Fighter,” along with the official US Open Collection of rackets, performance bags and tennis balls will be available on-site, in addition to the latest sportswear drops and custom graphic tees.
