Christian Harrison and Austin Krajicek put an exclamation point on the U.S. Davis Cup Team's First Round Qualifying performance in Hungary, clinching victory for the American team on the road with an emphatic victory over Fabian Marozsan and Zsombor Piros, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.

Harrison, coming off winning the 2026 Australian Open men's doubles title, earned his first Davis Cup win in his debut appearance, while Krajicek improves his Davis Cup doubles record to 9-2, including a undefeated 9-0 mark in live matches. 

Emilio Nava logged a 6-2, 6-3, win over Matyas Fuele in the dead singles match to ensure all three U.S. Davis Cup rookies -- Nava, Harrison and Ethan Quinn -- earned wins on the trip. 

The U.S. now advances to the Qualifying Second Round in late September to take on Czechia -- who defeated Sweden in their Qualifying tie -- in Czechia, at a site and on a surface to be announced.
